Shepard's SURGE Commericials

Hall of Famer Shepard Ritzen
created two, 60-second commercials for SURGE back in his college
days at Temple. He recently got them transferred over to DVD and
sent a copy over to us to post online for SURGE fans everywhere
to enjoy. He did a magnificent job in capturing what SURGE means
to him and so many others. He found its spirit, its energy and of
course its wonderful fully-loaded citrus taste and he put it all
on film.

Why Why Why
Shepard talks about the idea behind
the commercials:
The idea for the 2 commercials was a 2 part
campaign, one with imagery and text, and the other w/ imagery and
sound effects. So the hypothesis was to use them in different markets
and identify which worked better, the sounds of drinking the surge,
or the dialogue promoting the drink. It was the same campaign, so
they look pretty identical & used the same footage .
Thank you Shepard!
I hope that if and when SURGE comes back, they use your commercials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
