Greetings SURGE fans and welcome to the 98th edition of SaveSURGE News! Now in our 98th edition without a serious injury.
Speaking of injury, doesn’t it hurt you that SURGE is no longer being bottled? Why not contact Coca-Cola toll free at 1-800-GET-COKE and tell them how you feel.
Sightings Report
There has been 1 new SURGE Sighting added since the last edition of SaveSURGE News. It is in Conyers, GA.
Sadly, there were 2 deletions in Eastover, NC and Elizabethtown, PA.
Currently, there are 96 SURGE Sightings listed. Thanks to all you who look out for SURGE wherever you go!

The Survey to Save SURGE Update
The results of the Survey to Save SURGE, which ran from 4/21 – 4/29/04 have been viewed by members of the Coca-Cola bottling system. While we don’t have all the details, rest assured that the survey results have indeed arrived at the right place.
We ask for your patience as the results are reviewed. Whatever comes of the survey will certainly not happen overnight. Please stay tuned for more details as they become available and thanks again to all of you for participating!
New User Submitted Logos
This was a busy week for our User Submitted Logo section as there were three new additions for you to enjoy. SaveSURGE.org Hall of Famer Shepard created a SURGE logo that is truly a mouthful (you’ll see what I mean), Steve created 5 excellent logos using a different color scheme than the classic SURGE green we’re used to and Cindy used that familiar color scheme to perfection while putting a new twist on her logo.

SaveSURGE Radio Hits the Top 100
A recent boost of listeners has helped SaveSURGE Radio become one of the top 100 listened-to alternative rock stations on Live365.com. As of Wednesday, May 12 SaveSURGE Radio was ranked at #94 among stations who list “Alternative” as their primary programming genre. That’s a nice jump from April 1, when the station was ranked #154. Overall, SaveSURGE Radio ranked #2348 on May 12 among all stations – regardless of genre compared with a ranking of #3173 back on April 1. These are definite signs of positive growth for the station! Thanks to those of you who have tuned in.
