SaveSURGE News

Greetings SURGE fans and welcome to the 90th edition of SaveSURGE News! Each week we pay homage to the best soda in the world.

We ask that you pay homage to SURGE by giving Coca-Cola a call toll-free at 1-800-GET-COKE and let them know how much you want your favorite soda back in stores. You may also want to contact your local Coca-Cola bottler. Sometimes they even send you a coupon for free Coke products just for writing to them! Find your local facility in our Coca-Cola Directory, located at:
http://www.savesurge.org/surge/help_coke.shtml.

Sightings Report
SURGE SightingsThere were no new SURGE Sightings reported since the last edition of SaveSURGE News.

Sadly, there were 2 deletions in Eden Prairie, MN and Williamsburg, VA.

Currently, there are 135 SURGE Sightings listed. Thanks to all of you who look out for SURGE wherever you go!

For more info, visit SURGE Sightings at:

Fanta Citrus Update
As reported in the last edition of SaveSURGE News, Citra is making a comeback under the name Fanta Citrus. The drink is scheduled to hit the stores sometime this month. At this time we have no further information on the product. If you see Fanta Citrus in your town, please e-mail us at surge@savesurge.org.

Online Petition Reaches 5,000+ Signatures
We were very pleased to find out this week (thanks to John!) that the Save SURGE Online Petition created by SaveSURGE.org Hall of Famer Timb recently surpassed 5,000 signatures! Many thanks go out to all of you who have signed and promoted the petition over the years and a special thanks to Timb for creating the petition in the first place. The petition actually pre-dates the launch of SaveSURGE.org and was a big influence to Avery & I in deciding to create the site.

If you haven’t signed the petition yet, please do so at:

Listen to SaveSURGE Radio!I will be hosting a live Q&A Session on the new SaveSURGE Radio. It will take place on Wednesday, March 24 from 8-9pm eastern standard time. Have a question about SURGE? Have a question about the site? Have a question about life? Then ask me! I’m going to do my best to provide the answers.

Please e-mail your questions to me at surge@savesurge.org no later than 5PM eastern on March 24.

Want to hear your voice on the radio? You can record your questions using your computer microphone and then sending me an MP3 file. Please make sure that the MP3 file is no larger than 100KB in file size.

I really look forward to hosting the show and I hope that as many of you participate as possible. Right now I need many more questions to come in to make this show a reality.

I have to agree with the vast majority of you, I’m excited! I can’t wait to get a taste of the beverage formerly known as Citra.
