Hi again everyone and welcome to SaveSURGE News!
This is edition #15 of SaveSURGE.org's world-famous, SURGE lovin'
newsletter.
Before we get started, I want to take this opportunity
to apologize for not getting the newsletter out last week. Things
were pretty hectic around the office but I've received my beating
and learned my lesson!
So, here's what happening in the world of SURGE...
:)
You're Seeing SURGE!
----------------------------------
I have wonderful news to report; there have been 9 SURGE
Sightings since the last newsletter! 5 of them were sent in
this past weekend.
They are all great, but one in particular is especially
great. Martinsville, WV actually has 12 packs! This is the first
Sighting we've had in awhile that wasn't in a fountain. It's a great
sign to see SURGE available in normal retail packaging.
Thanks to all who have sent in Sightings and keep
up the great work!
SURGE Cab Hits the Web
----------------------------------------
Our great friend Will has taken the time to create an excellent
website about his 1977 SURGE Checker Cab which he won in the "SURGE
Fully-Loaded Summer" contest a few years back.
The site contains photos of Will's cab, some very
interesting facts about Checker cabs and links to other Checker-related
sites. It's definitely something every SURGE fan will love and it's
available at:

For the Love of SURGE
----------------------------------
People are sending in Love from all over! We've had 3 additions
to For the Love of SURGE
since the last newsletter and they are must-see items :)
-We have Timb, Marcus & friends enjoying SURGE
at a Fuddruckers.
-Ryan showing us some great SURGE memorabilia.
-Jeff sent in some photos of SURGE in his home.
Ah, yes, love is in the air!
SKYY Surge?
---------------------
Shepard, who has contributed lots of great things to SaveSURGE.org
recently wrote in with a bit of a surprise. He wrote that he and
a friend tried the new SKYY Blue malt beverage and concluded that
it tasted very similar to our beloved SURGE.
Well, I being one to seize every opportunity to
taste some citrus heaven decided to give SKYY Blue a try. Success!
It actually does have a similarity to SURGE. Not a perfect match,
but if you're of legal drinking age you may want to give it a try.
Remember not to drink and drive!
Make this Summer a Fully-Loaded Summer!
----------------------------------------------------------------
If you are fortunate to have SURGE still in your area, make sure
to buy as much of it as you can! Nothing helps you beat the heat
like a refreshing SURGE.
And while you're drinking that nice cold SURGE
(or wishing that you were), make sure to write your local Coca-Cola
bottler and tell them how much you love it!
Not sure where to start? Visit our How
You Can Help section for step by step instructions.
Thanks for reading and look out for SURGE everywhere you go!
Sincerely,
Eric Karkovack
