SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame Inducts Two
On Monday, May 9, 2005 the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame inducted new members Debbie and Shirley! These ladies are best known for their incredible efforts to save their favorite soda at the recent Country Thunder USA festival held in Florence, AZ.
By purchasing a vendor booth at the event, Debbie and Shirley were able to spread the word about SURGE and SaveSURGE.org. They started a SaveSURGE.org Local Petition at Country Thunder and eventually collected over 1,000 signatures requesting that SURGE be brought back into production by Coca-Cola!
Also, the ladies were recently featured on NBC affiliated KPNX-TV in Phoenix, AZ to discuss their dedication to SURGE.
As members of the Hall, Debbie and Shirley each received permanent enshrinement in the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame website and they each received a personalized Hall of Fame mug.
We at SaveSURGE.org congratulate and thank Debbie and Shirley for their tremendous dedication to SURGE!

Vault Test Marketing Announced
Wouldn’t you know it…just minutes after last week’s edition of SaveSURGE News was released, more information about Vault came in! For those that don’t know, Vault is Coca-Cola’s new citrus soda. Many believe that is the SURGE formula, re-branded with a new name and packaging.
We now have a date and general location where Vault will be available! Many thanks to Hall of Famer Shirley (the very same one from above) for relaying this information to us.
Vault is scheduled to begin its test-marketing on June 1, 2005 in the following states: Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
At this time, we do not know of specific locations within these states where Vault will be available.
We are going to need your help to determine whether or not Vault is actually the SURGE formula or a new drink altogether. If you live in one of these states and you try Vault, please let us know! Also let us know the name and address of the store where you purchased it.
Please stay tuned to SaveSURGE.org for more information regarding Vault as it becomes available to us.

SURGE Spotted on Even Stevens
SURGE Fan Mr. Meat wrote in to tell us that he saw SURGE on the Disney Channel’s “Even Stevens” show. He tells us, “I spotted Surge about a year ago on a original Disney television show called ‘Even Stevens’ where one of the characters, Ren, is drinking our favorite little soft drink.”
Poll Results – The Market is Out There
The latest SURGE Poll asked you: Three expired 12-packs of SURGE have sold for more than $140 in the past week. Does this mean that a market for SURGE still exists?
85.6% - Yes
14.3% - No
Total Votes: 181
We just don’t see anyone paying anywhere near those prices for other expired sodas!
That’s all the time we have for this week. Thank you SURGE fans for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Eric Karkovack
