AP Article Update
As announced in the 137th edition of SaveSURGE News, our community will be the focus of an article by the Associated Press. The interviews have been conducted by AP journalist Marc Levy with yours truly along with other members of the SaveSURGE.org Community. We do not yet have a date when the article will be published. I’ve been told that the article should be out within a week or two. It will first appear on the Pennsylvania wire and has the potential to go national within a few weeks of its release date!

Fans Spot SURGE Commercials
We’ve had two reported sightings of authentic SURGE commercials on TV in the past two weeks! First, a member of the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin Board spotted one:

Then, we heard from Andrew in Hawaii who says that a SURGE commercial was shown on station KFVE.

Both commercials were reported to be old ones from the 1990’s. While we’re not sure what to make of these airings, we have received a few similar reports over the years. It seems they often air during older programs. It is possible that perhaps these old commercials were just something on the program tape and aired mistakenly during reruns.

Unfortunately, the official word from Coca-Cola is that SURGE is still discontinued.
