Cha-Ching! Media Blitz Pays Off as AP Profiles SaveSURGE.org
We are very proud to announce that the first-ever SaveSURGE.org Media Blitz ended quite successfully this week. The Associated Press thinks enough of our community that they are doing a profile of us!

On 3/31/05, I was interviewed by Marc Levy of the AP. Others scheduled to appear in the article are SaveSURGE.org Co-Webmaster Avery Lund and Hall of Famer Drew Bizzell.

We are not yet sure of when the article will be published. The word is that the article will first be distributed in my home state of Pennsylvania. A few weeks afterwards, it has a chance to be picked up by the national wire! Mr. Levy thought that this was a very good possibility. That means that SaveSURGE.org may have a chance to be featured in virtually every newspaper and news website in the country (and beyond)!

The potential publicity from this article could do wonders for our campaign. We now have an opportunity to be seen by millions of people!

‘Save Surge – The Movie’ to be Re-Released on DVD
SaveSURGE.org Hall of Famer Drew Bizzell reports that he will soon be selling a re-released version of his fully loaded film, “Save Surge – The Movie”. This disc will feature 3 film trailers, deleted scenes, soundtrack information, DVD-ROM contents (an Ozma mp3 and an mp3 of the discussion of SaveSURGE.org during a recent Creating Customer Evangelists Podcast), chapter search and a sneak-peek at the upcoming film “Save Surge 2: The Saga Continues”. Drew also noted that the title of the new film could very well be changed to “The Return of SURGE” if indeed our beloved drink comes back in the near future (let’s hope!).

The DVD will sell for $5.00 each, shipping included. SaveSURGE.org will be showing a brand new trailer in the very near future. Look out for it on our home page.
