SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame Inducts New Members
On November 1, 2004, the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame inducted two new members into its hallowed halls:

Greg EideGreg Eide: Greg has been a huge supporter of SaveSURGE.org for quite some time. He has not only contributed a great amount of content to the website, he has also worked tirelessly for his favorite soda. He even flew from his home state of Washington all the way to Las Vegas, NV for a chance to taste SURGE!

Ralph DanielRalph Daniel: Ralph has shown great support to the website over the years and spreads the word any way he can. He has been known to post SaveSURGE.org flyers, contact Coca-Cola and its bottlers and frequent the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin Board.

Greg and Ralph are also best friends. They have teamed up to help make a difference in the campaign to bring SURGE back to store shelves everywhere. For their accomplishments, they will be permanently enshrined in the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame website and will each receive a special mug with their names on it.

Guys, we thank you for all that you have done for SURGE! Your contributions have made a difference.

SURGE Promoter Shares his Story
SURGE CapThis week we heard from Thomas, a young man who worked for an agency hired by Coca-Cola back in the 1990s to promote SURGE. His job was to go out on the road for various marketing promotions including sample giveaways and the SURGE Human Hockey Puck show which was put on at hockey rinks across the country. He also had some pictures of rare SURGE merchandise to share as well.

Check it out in For the Love of SURGE:

Thanks to Thomas for sharing his memories and photos!

Poll Results: If the Curse is reversed, SURGE can come back
Boston Red SoxThe latest SURGE Poll asked you: The Boston Red Sox won the World Series after an 86 year drought. Does that make you more likely to believe in a return of SURGE?

83.3% - Yes! If the Sox can kill the curse, SURGE can come back.
16.6% - No. The curse never existed and SURGE isn't coming back.

Total Votes: 78

Whether or not “the curse” really existed, seeing the Sox go through their miraculous post-season is enough to make me feel like anything can happen. Why not US?!?

That’s all the time we have for this week. Thank you SURGE fans for continuing the fight!

Sincerely,

Eric Karkovack
