Survey to Save SURGE Update
As you may remember, we conducted the Survey to Save SURGE from 4/21 – 4/29/04. The purpose of the survey was to provide Coca-Cola and its bottlers with valuable marketing data regarding SURGE and its fans. The response was incredible, with over 1,000 SURGE fans responding in just over a week online.

The latest news is that I have confirmed that discussions about the future of SURGE are still ongoing. The idea of SURGE once again hitting store shelves is still alive and well! There have been a whole lot of management changes over at Coke so it appears that may be lengthening the process a bit.

Drew Making a SURGE Movie!
SURGE fan Drew informed us this week that he has already begun work on a SURGE Movie! “Save Surge – the Movie” is already starting to film and Drew has said that he will be sending us some stills of the progress in the future.

As part of the movie, he will be investigating SURGE Sightings in both Houston & San Antonio, TX.

Thanks Drew for making a movie about the greatest soda in the world! A special shout-out goes to Hall of Famer Tim Kelly who, like Drew, was in the process of shooting “A Surgeumentary” when his camera was unfortunately stolen.
