Timb Gives 101 Reasons to Love SURGE
Back in the 101st edition of SaveSURGE News, I wrote “There are 101 reasons to love SURGE, can you name them all?”. SaveSURGE.org Hall of Famer Timb took that as a challenge! He came up with all 101 reasons and was kind enough to share them with us. Here are a few highlights:
4.. it refreshes
17.. because SURGE is so hard to get
35.. 2-liters of love in a 2 liter
58.. because of SURGE slurpees which were its ultimate form
71.. because I would gladly sell blood to buy SURGE
88.. because SURGE always went down smooth
99.. because coca-cola is finally starting to listen
Be sure to check out all 101 reasons at:

Many thanks to Timb for sharing this list with us!
C2 Debuts
Coca-Cola recently debuted Coca-Cola C2 – a cola with half the calories and half the sugar compared to Coca-Cola Classic. Along with Pepsi Edge, C2 is part of a new beverage category called “mid-calorie”. These contain less calories and sugar than traditional colas but still contain more than a diet soda.
Coke is already spending quite a bit of money on advertising for C2. They even licensed the Rolling Stones classic hit, “You can’t Always Get What you Want” for their commercials.
So, how does C2 taste? Well, my personal opinion is that C2 is better than your average diet soda. It is much sweeter and contains less of that metallic diet aftertaste.
What do others think? Check out this topic in the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin board for more information on C2 and Pepsi Edge:

Connecticut Product News
SURGE fan Sprodigy made an informative post on the SaveSURGE.org Message board this week about his recent discussion with a Coca-Cola representative. They discussed Coke products in the Connecticut area, here’s the story:
-SURGE and Citra are of course, not available.
-The Minute Maid line of products is scheduled to be replaced by Fanta.
-Tab is there to stay.
-Tropical Sprite Remix is indeed gone – Coke plans to change the remix flavor of Sprite every year.
Thanks to Sprodigy for lettings us in on what’s happening in CT!
