SaveSURGE News

Hello friends of SURGE and welcome to the 102nd edition of SaveSURGE News! Since 2002, we’re providing you with the latest happenings in the world of SURGE.

You know what we’d like to see happen? We’d like to see SURGE back on every store shelf in America! How can you help us with our noble goal? Give Coca-Cola a call toll-free at 1-800-GET-COKE and tell them that you want your SURGE.

Sightings Report
SURGE SightingsThere have been 2 new SURGE Sightings added since the last edition of SaveSURGE News. They are in Overland Park, KS and Willoughby, OH. Apparently the Willoughby listing was deleted a short while ago but we’ve been told that they do indeed have SURGE once again.

Sadly, there was 1 deletion in New Haven, CT.

Currently there are 94 SURGE Sightings listed. Thanks to all of you who look out for SURGE wherever you go!

For more info, visit SURGE Sightings at:

SaveSURGE.org in the North Star
SaveSURGE.org in the North StarSaveSURGE.org was featured in the Francis Howell North Star – a high school newspaper in St. Charles, MO. Reporter Mike Colesworthy wrote an excellent story about SURGE and the site. Designer Erica Jackson did a wonderful job laying out the full page feature. Honestly, this high school has a paper that looks better than some commercial ones I’ve seen!

Besides the in-depth story, the feature also includes information on how you can bring SURGE back, a profile of SaveSURGE.org’s content and a history of our beloved soda.

Many thanks to Erica and Mike for doing such a great job on the feature! Also, a big thanks goes out to SURGE fans Zac Penrod and Molly Brady who were quoted as well.

Green and Yellow T-Shirts in the Store
Yellow T-ShirtFinally, we can now offer SaveSURGE.org T-shirts in colors other than gray or white! There is a great new shirt design celebrating the summer of 2004 available in both neon-green (our favorite color of course) and yellow. These special designs will only be around for this summer so get them while you can. The shirts cost $14.99 each plus shipping.

*Please note that SaveSURGE.org does not profit from the sale of items in the store. All items are sold at cost.

New User Submitted Logos
Jeremy's SURGE LogoWe have some great new logos this week from SURGE fans Jeremy and Levie. See all of the logos at:

And hey, you may even want to send in a logo of your own!

Poll Results – Let them know!
The latest SURGE Poll asked you: “Have you told Coca-Cola that you want SURGE back?”

69.7% - Yes
30.2% - No

Total Votes: 109

That’s a pretty good percentage of you contacting Coke, but we need everyone on board! The more of us who contact Coke, the better our chances of sipping that sweet SURGE once again.

That’s all the time we have for this week, thanks so much for your support!

Sincerely,

Eric Karkovack
