How You Can Help: Letter Archive

Zach's Letter

Zach wrote the following letter to Coca-Cola Enterprises:

Hi, My name is Zach Collier. I am a member from a website called Savesurge.org. I know others
have emailed you on this subject also, but I believe if more email, we can bring about a point to all of this.

A couple of years ago, the "Fully Loaded Citrus Soda" known as Surge was released. After a couple of years it was pulled from shelves due to sales falling. It is my and many others' request that you start redistributing this product on the shelves of stores. Many SURGE drinkers have resorted to paying over $50 for Surge off of ebay. I myself have done this too, and always have to scout far regions for my favorite drink.

If it is unable for you to distribute this nationwide, the least I ask for you to do is contact Louisiana's bottling center. I have mailed them telling that SURGE is widely requested in my area, but they do not respond, so maybe one of you can help us into at least bringing SURGE back to Louisiana.

I hope you will respond somehow and give us loyal fans of a great drink taken away a sign. I read
in a summary of TaB that even though Diet Coke's sales surpassed them, TaB was brought back because of loyal fans who traveled great distances to get it. If you visit Savesurge.org, you'll see that the very same thing is happening with all of us SURGE fans.

Thanks for your time,

Zach Collier
