Gregg's Letter

Dear Coca-Cola Bottler:
I am writing this letter in the hope that I can convince you to bring SURGE soda back to the Connecticut area.
SURGE has a large and loyal following (please see the SaveSURGE website at http://www.savesurge.org for proof), and we are disheartened that we cannot get our favorite soda anymore. These circumstances have actually caused a number of people (myself included!) to spend upwards of $10 for one can of SURGE via Ebay or other means. This behavior is not uncommon for those of us who are unwilling to accept a poor substitute, such as Dr. Pepper/7-Up Corp.’s dnL or Pepsi’s Mountain Dew. SURGE has a miraculous flavor that your competitors simply cannot live up to.
I am but one of many who would be thrilled to see SURGE back in production so we do not have to resort to these means to obtain SURGE. Presently, the best I can hope for is to randomly stumble upon long expired cans, or perhaps wander into a place of business that owns a fountain where syrup has been collecting dust. Neither, unfortunately, is a viable solution. SURGE has been officially gone here in Connecticut for quite some time, and other people I have spoken to from all over the United States cannot find it either.
Coca-Cola created a fantastic beverage when it invented SURGE, and I hope you will make it available here again soon. I thank you for reading this, and any response you can give me concerning this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Gregg Lauer
