Death by Caffeine?
There is now a website out there that will calculate how many cans of your favorite caffeinated soda it will take to kill you. No, I’m not kidding! This one has been a discussion topic on our Bulletin Board and was also sent in to us by our friend Cody.

Simply visit this website, pick your favorite soda (both SURGE and Vault are listed) and enter your weight. The program will then tell you how much of that soda it would take to kill you:

http://www.energyfiend.com/death-by-caffeine/

Obviously, I have no idea how scientific this is. And, as with so many of these crazy things we find on the web: Please don’t try this at home! Just take the calculator’s word for it without trying it yourself :)

For the record, the calculator says that it would take 151.13 cans of Vault or 207.43 cans of SURGE to kill me. I assume I would have to drink that all in one sitting. I think I’ll stick to a couple Vaults per day!

Weekly Interview: Robb K.
This week’s interview is with SURGE fan Robb K., known on the Bulletin Board as “Rawisrob”. He has made several contributions to our sites (including the logos mentioned above). We sat down with him to discuss his love of SURGE and his other interests:

1. Why is SURGE so special to you?
SURGE is special to me because it brings back great childhood memories. Every time I came back from school, I'd get off of the bus and run down to the nearest convenience store and grab one, which was usually over in the corner, hidden.

2. Have you tried Vault? If so, what do you think of it?
No, I haven't tried it yet, but I think I can try to get a relative that lives down near one of the test states to send me some.

3. Besides soda, do you have any other interests?
Well, back in the late 90's I used to watch WCW Wrestling. I can't stand watching WWE now, because the stories and the characters are just too insulting to fans. I remember watching NITRO with a Surge......God, I miss that.

4. What do you enjoy most about our community?
I love the fact that someone actually remembered the poor soda. I found out about the site when I was looking through my old WCW games. On the back of the "Instruction Manual" there's an ad for SURGE that says "Shock the System". There was also one in a WCW Movie named "Ready to Rumble" and in the background there was a huge can. I have to get some pictures of those things to send to you guys :)

5. Who's your pick for the Super Bowl?
Well, the only "sport" I watch is wrestling (if you could call it a sport). But I'd pick the NE Patriots just to keep the streak going :)

Thanks to Robb for speaking with us! You can check out his bulletin board, X-Treme Hardcore Championship Wrestling, at: http://xtremehcw.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi

That’s all the time we have for this week. Thanks to all of you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
