SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame Inducts Two
SaveSURGE.org Hall of FameOn Saturday, February 18, 2006, the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame permanently enshrined two new members:

Ben (aka CitraSURGEMoose54) – Ben has been an extremely dedicated SURGE fan who has made his presence known throughout our community. He has made several contributions to our For the Love of SURGE section and been a longtime member of our Bulletin Board. You can view Ben’s Hall of Fame page here.

Dan (aka SURGE-RF-SM) – Dan has been one of the most creative members of our community. He has created several SURGE logos and even his own SURGE ad! This young man has also distributed the SaveSURGE.org Flyer and is a dedicated member of our Bulletin Board. You can view Dan’s Hall of Fame page here.

The guys are not only enshrined on the website, they will also receive personalized mugs to commemorate their achievements. Congratulations Ben and Dan!

SURGE vs. Vault – Head to Head Taste Test
While time didn’t permit me to write a newsletter last week, I was able to do a head to head taste test of our two beloved sodas! I purchased a long-expired can of SURGE from an eBay auction and decided it was time to conduct my own test.
Read my full review here.

Shortly thereafter, SaveSURGE.org. Hall of Famer Gregg also did his own comparison between Vault and SURGE!
Read Gregg’s review here.

Weekly Interview: SaveSURGE.org Hall of Famer Salvadore
This week’s interview is with Hall of Famer Salvadore (aka SURGE 4 EVER on the Bulletin Board). He discusses his lack of Vault, his love of The Simpsons and his dream car may just surprise you:

1. Has Vault come to your area yet?
No sadly it has not but I am not exactly surprised by this because the local bottler for my area (abtex) is a little slow on getting new soft drinks for my area when one becomes available.

2. Are you watching the Olympics? If so, what's your favorite sport?
Yes I am and I enjoy the Alpine Skiing.

3. Besides soda, what are you other interests?
Well to be honest I enjoy playing video games and really like boogie boarding on the beach and snow boarding whenever I go on vacation.

4. What's your favorite TV show?
Definitely would say The Simpsons. I have been a fan for a very long time I think it paved the way for some of the newer animated shows today, i.e Family Guy, American Dad....etc.

5. If you could have any car you wanted, what would you get?
I would get a very nice van because I can take it anywhere and it'd be awesome for drive in movies.

Thanks to Salvadore for taking the time to chat with us!

Well, that’s all the time we have for this week. Thanks again for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Eric Karkovack
