Hello once again SURGE & Vault fans and welcome to the 14th edition of The Kick and Rush Gazette. It’s a fully-loaded job, but someone’s got to do it.

Vault Expands Into All CBCC Territories
Coca-Cola Bottling Co. ConsolidatedWhen Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated released their third quarter results for 2005, they also released a juicy bit of Vault news.

Their release states that: "The Company introduced Vault in approximately half its territories in June and will roll out this product in the balance of its territories in November."

CCBCC is currently the second largest Coca-Cola bottler in the US. Their territory covers much of the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic areas of the country. You can view a map of their territory here.

You can view the release right here.

Special thanks to Aaron for alerting us of this release!

Switching Servers
We are currently in the process of moving our sites to a new server. VaultKicks.org has already been moved and is in great shape. Please note that the URL http://www.checkyourmessage.com/vault/ will no longer work. Please change your bookmarks to our much easier to remember address, http://www.vaultkicks.org/.

As for SaveSURGE.org, this will be a bit more monumental in task. The site is approaching its fourth birthday so that means there a LOT of files to move and some applications to set up. There’s a slight chance that we’ll have a brief outage within the next week or two as things are transferred over. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience!

Our bulletin board will likely be the last to move to the new server. We expect that to take place within the next couple of weeks. We do not plan on changing the URL of the board so there won’t be a need to update any bookmarks.

Thanks for your patience!

Weekly Interview: Sudzy
This week’s interview is with Cathy (a.k.a. Sudzy on the Bulletin Board). She is a longtime member of our community and very dedicated SURGE fan. We sat down with her to find out a little bit more about her life:

1. What is it that you most enjoy about our community?
I admire the way we're all so dedicated to our favorite soda. It takes a strong personality to stand up for what you believe, and that's something we've all done here. It's awesome to be a part of that.

2. You seem to know a lot about music. Who are some of your favorite bands/artists?
Well, over the years my tastes have fluctuated between heavy metal and classic rock. Some of my favorites are Slayer, Metallica, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix, but I'm always on the lookout for new music as well.

3. What's your favorite TV show?
I don't really watch much TV these days, but I've always been a news hound so I'll have to say CNN, or maybe the "Today" show.

4. Besides great citrus soda, what are your other interests?
I have a part-time antiques business, so antiques and collectibles are a great interest of mine. I've always loved scouting out that one-of-a-kind or hard-to-find treasure. It's a lot like looking for that elusive citrus soda! I also enjoy travel, photography, and am struggling hard to play the guitar.

5. If you could describe yourself in 10 words or less, what would you say?
Wow, this is a tough one. I'd have to say spontaneous, passionate, wacky, creative, forgetful, silly, cranky, intense, stubborn, and soda-loving (of course)!

Our thanks to Sudzy for taking the time to chat with us! Remember, if you’d like to be the focus of our weekly interview, simply sign up in the General Discussion area of our Bulletin Board. Free registration is required – don’t worry, we don’t spam or share your info with anyone!

That’s all the time we have for this week. Thanks to all of you for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Eric Karkovack
