Could Vault’s National Launch Come in February 2006?
We received a tip from SaveSURGE.org Hall of Famer Shepard Ritzen this week that may very well mean that Vault’s national release could occur in February 2006. Shepard wrote in to his local bottler in Philadelphia, PA and asked when Vault would be available in his area. The bottler replied:

“Much to our excitement and hopefully yours....the test-markets for Vault have far exceeded expectations!! Given the early success of the brand in our trial markets, Philly Coke is currently planning to launch Vault in this marketplace early 2006 (tentatively scheduled mid to late February). You should be on the lookout for Vault in 20oz plastic bottles, with other packages (12pk Fridgepack cans and possibly 2ltr plastic bottles) to follow shortly thereafter.”

This of course leads us to believe that if Vault will be launched in Philly during that time, it may very well be launched nationally at that time as well. And, since Superbowl XL takes place on February 5, 2006 it’s also possible that we may even see some Vault commercials during the game!

I found SaveSURGE.org by simply typing in my favorite lost soda, and this was the first thing that came up.

2. If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things with you, what would you take?
I'd take, my girlfriend, Chloe, my family, and, of course, an unlimited supply of Surge.

3. What's your favorite song?
My favorite song is "Feelin' Satisfied" by BOSTON.

4. Who is the person (alive or otherwise) you'd most like to meet?
Avatar of Opium, I'd love to see what this guy looks like.

5. Do you have any hobbies?
My hobbies are, riding my Kawasaki Ninja, finding old soda bottles/cans, and hangin' out with the crew.
