One Day, This Bin Will Belong to Cody
As those of us who own a giant SURGE bin can tell you, it's an experience like no other! Cody tells us that he will one day join our very select group.
In my town, there has been rumored that there was an old SURGE bin in an old building that used to be the old Jr. High. Well, one of my best friends, who you all recently met on SaveSURGE.Org, Jacob H., confirmed this rumor! Since they still do children's basketball at the old building, they still use the bin to hold Gatorade in to sell. Hard to believe that this old piece of SURGE history (which as you can see from the pic is pretty old, since most bins are sent out during original releases and because it is old logo) has been in the middle of my town this whole time...AND ME TO NOT KNOW ABOUT IT! That's very scary! I inquired about perhaps purchasing it from them. Well, they told me no. They said they needed it to hold the Gatorade, but seeing as how the man running the stand used to know me from my days of competing in kickball, and because he knows most of my family, that when they're done with it, they'll hand it over to me! I'm SOOOO EXICTED! I CAN'T WAIT TILL IT'LL BE IN MY HANDS! (Who knows when that'll be, though. I was told that they've been using that same bin for at the least 4 year now.) Though it isn't completely mint condition, it's still awesome! It's got a few scratches and a cracked dent in the side that's about, maybe, and inch big. Basically bumps from being stored every year after basketball season ends. That doesn't bother me, though. The logos on both sides still show cleanly! I really wish you all could have seen the look on my face when I walked up the old school's stairs, turned right, and had this large, heavenly green bin STARING RIGHT BACK AT ME! All-In-All today was a good day...no, wait, a GREAT DAY!
Here's a pic of me pointing back towards the bin. I NEED THIS BIN!!!!:
Thanks Cody! We're counting the days until that thing is yours!
