Chris looks back at how popular SURGE was:

I remember when Surge first came out me and my friends were obsessed with it. When someone's birthday came around we were allowed to bring soda for everyone in class and when my birthday came I told everyone that I was getting Surge and everyone was excited but when my mom went to get it they were out of stock, bummer. It was wierd this soda took over our lives and we're all obsessed with it.
