Personally Identifiable Information
We at SaveSURGE.org value your loyalty to our website community and we also value your right to privacy. That’s why we will NEVER sell any personally identifiable information from our users to a third-party.

Here is a list of occasions on which SaveSURGE.org may ask for personally identifiable information:

-On occasion, SaveSURGE.org holds contests resulting in the contest winner(s) receiving a prize or prizes. When contests are held, we will most likely ask our users to provide at least (but not limited to) one (1) piece of personally identifiable information. The type of information we ask our users to provide us with may include (but is not limited to): Full name, mailing address (street, city, state, zip code), phone number, e-mail address and age. We collect this information as a way to verify our contestants and to provide winners with their prizes. This information is used only for this purpose and is never sold to a third-party.

-Several times a year we induct deserving SURGE fans into the SaveSURGE.org Hall of Fame. When inducting new Hall of Fame members, we ask those members to provide SaveSURGE.org with their full name and mailing address so that we may send them a complimentary Hall of Fame prize as our way of saying thank you. Again, we do not use this information for any other purpose and will not provide this information to any third-party.

-Users of the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin Board are now required to register using a valid E-Mail address. This policy has been put in place to help control recent problems with unsolicited SPAM.

-The Kick and Rush Gazette Mailing List - In order to subscribe to the The Kick and Rush Gazette mailing list, users must provide us with a valid e-mail address. We will not provide your e-mail information to any third-party. Users who do not wish to reveal their e-mail address may read The Kick and Rush Gazette on the SaveSURGE.org website or on our sister site, VaultKicks.org.

Other Types of Information
You should know that each time you visit a web site (including SaveSURGE.org), that website’s server will collect (log) certain information about your internet connection and your computer. SaveSURGE.org’s web server does collect the following information:

-Your computer’s IP Address and or Internet Service Provider’s Domain Name. This information can at times be used to personally identify a user. SaveSURGE.org will not use this information in a malicious way. This information is occasionally viewed to help us better understand how many people are visiting our site, which outside websites are linking to us and which web browser software our users use. To provide our users with a place to chat, we have created the SaveSURGE.org/VaultKicks.org Bulletin Board as means for communication. We take the responsibility of administering the Bulletin Board seriously and we respect the privacy of our users. Please make note of the following terms:

-The SaveSURGE.org/VaultKicks.org Bulletin Board is open to everyone. However, registration is required. USERS ARE NOW REQUIRED TO REGISTER USING A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS. You may also choose to provide information such as (but not limited to) your AOL Instant Messenger screen name, etc. as a means for other users to chat with you. We ask that users DO NOT provide information such as telephone numbers, mailing addresses, etc. SaveSURGE.org is NOT responsible or liable for any inherent dangers that result from users providing their own (or someone else’s) personally identifiable information to other users.

-If you are under 18 years of age, please receive permission from a parent or guardian BEFORE registering for the Bulletin Board.

-We at SaveSURGE.org believe in freedom of speech. However, we WILL NOT tolerate any posts on our Bulletin Board that we deem racist, sexist, obscene or illegal. While we will provide our best efforts to make sure that any such posts are properly deleted, SaveSURGE.org cannot be held liable for any comments made by its users. The opinions expressed by users on the SaveSURGE.org Bulletin Board are that of its users and not necessarily those of SaveSURGE.org.

-We do not tolerate unsolicited SPAM messages on the SaveSURGE.org/VaultKicks.org Bulletin Board.

About User Submitted Content
The majority of SaveSURGE.org’s website content comes from our users. SURGE fans often send us stories, photos, etc. to help spread the word about their favorite soda and help make the SaveSURGE community a more interesting place to visit. If you choose to join the many users who have submitted content for use on SaveSURGE.org, please note the following terms:

-Any content submitted to SaveSURGE.org by users may be displayed on SaveSURGE.org’s website at our discretion. We reserve the right to use any content submitted to us in any manner that we deem appropriate.

-SaveSURGE.org reserves the right to edit any user submitted content as we deem appropriate.

-SaveSURGE.org reserves the right to use your first name or a nickname (provided by you) to identify content you submitted to us (for example, “Eric’s SURGE Story” or “SURGEFan77’s SURGE Story”). If you have a preference regarding how you are referred to on SaveSURGE.org please let us know.

-SaveSURGE.org will not post any user submitted content that we deem racist, sexist, obscene or illegal.

-If you decide that you would like content you submitted to SaveSURGE.org removed from our website, please inform us of your request and we will remove it for you.
